Stop the presses for TechnologyOne’s Di Marco

Di Marco was one of the few business names to feature in the Australia Day awards this year, and his marketing division was keen to ensure everyone knew.

The Australia Day honours list this year was light on business folk, but one name that did appear was TechnologyOne founder Adrian Di Marco. You’d be forgiven for missing it; as a recipient of the least prestigious award, the Order of Australia Medal, his name was one among more than 300.

But the conscientious staff at TechnologyOne’s marketing division were keen to make sure no readers of this masthead stayed in the dark. In fact, they took out a full-page ad in Friday’s newspaper to celebrate the award.

correction

This article originally referred to Adrian Di Marco as CEO of TechnologyOne. That is incorrect, it has been corrected to founder. It also incorrectly said there was no ad in The Australian. That reference has been removed.
