The drama continues at Macquarie Street as dissident members of the historic yet financially precarious Royal Automobile Club of Australia attempt to overthrow the board and install a new one.
In play is a lawsuit, with the existing board having threatened legal action to stop the meeting going ahead, arguing it could leave the club without a board at all if a spill motion passes but a motion to appoint new members does not.
