While most of the AFL’s usual grand final devotees cool their heels in lockdown, those lucky enough to live behind Mark McGowan’s iron border (or in states not presently locked out) are preparing for a party like no other.
Part of the fun is that Perth has never hosted a grand final before, and probably won’t ever again. Which, we suspect, might be behind claims of rare but spectacular breaches of grand final etiquette.
