Palaszczuk skips campaign trail
Myriam RobinRear Window editorQueensland premier Annastacia Palaszczuk may not have given successor Stephen Miles much time to govern or campaign (as even Labor elder Peter Beattie recently mused). But since announcing her retirement in December, she’s been well out of the picture.
The long-serving premier has not been seen on the campaign trail. An absence that will persist right up to election day, when she is one of a number of Australian delegates to the annual Australia Japan Joint Business Conference, taking place from Wednesday to Friday in Nagoya.
