Monash IVF’s second-in-charge quietly departed to rival before embryo scandal

The embattled company found time to sue Hamish Hamilton last Thursday. Impressive, given its CEO quit the same day and its share price was collapsing.

The tragic news of another embryo mix up by Monash IVF last week made it clear the company is failing at its No.1 job: getting people pregnant with the right embryos.

The Monash IVF board led by Richard Davis sat on the news of the first debacle earlier this year. Now, it turns out it has also been keeping quiet about the departure of veteran chief operating officer Hamish Hamilton. He resigned in March after nearly 20 years at the company (and its affiliates).
