Michael Chaney pays a price for Voice advocacy

The Wesfarmers chairman has not commented on the Advance Australia ad that ran in this newspaper, which our publisher has since said “should not have run”.

No sooner had Indigenous Australians Minister Linda Burney called on Voice sceptics not to “bully” Australian business leaders for their advocacy than an organisation with close links to the official No campaign put Michael Chaney in focus, rather vividly.

The Wesfarmers chairman has not commented on the Advance Australia ad that ran in this newspaper on Thursday, which our publisher has since said “should not have run”.
