Members of Australia’s tight-knit and self-regarding start-up and technology ecosystem have nothing to gain from undermining their industry body and chief political lobbyist.
It can lose them friends. It can lose them investors. It can expose them to the whims and motivations of journalists, who tend to see the world rather differently. It is a venture as self-defeating as it is risky.
