It's been a shocker of a week thus far for Mobile Embrace, the former dildo company whose 16th-largest shareholder is Jac Nasser. The BHP Billiton chairman has long been known by the nickname "the Knife" but perhaps it ought to be "the Sword" or, yet more generic, "the Weapon"?
It's now an SMS sales platform but the same chief executive, Chris Thorpe, remains at the helm of this latest iteration, 15 years since he was waxing lyrical about his former products' embrace: "Passion, pleasure, fantasy and always state-of-the-art functionality." Certainly doesn't sound much like Olympic Dam.
