CT Group, the firm marshalled by Sir Lynton Crosby and Mark Textor, told the federal Liberal party late last year that the polling firm behind some of its most famous wins will no longer seek election work.

That brings to an end a multi-decade partnership between Crosby, Textor and the federal Liberal party, which teamed up to win elections for John Howard, Tony Abbott, Malcolm Turnbull and Scott Morrison.
