Seven years after his release from prison on insider trading charges, the son of former Macquarie banker Nick Curtis and husband of flashy PR maven Roxy Jacenko has parlayed a $250,000 investment in Firmus Technologies into an $81 million paper fortune.
An earlier version of this article stated that Merrill Lynch became a backer of Firmus in January. This is incorrect. It is a custodian of another investor’s stake, rather than an investor itself.
