Azupay, the private fintech firm heavily backed by Ashok Jacob’s Ellerston Capital and Andrew Forrest’s investment vehicle Tattarang, has a new chief executive putting his feet under the desk on Monday.

Former PayPal and MYOB executive Andrew Baines has taken the job, and the hope of the business’ high-powered investors is that he’ll deliver the opportunity for a profitable exit on the real-time payments start-up.
