Appen still Bill Pulver's golden goose

He's kept a lower profile this year, but we think it's time we checked in on ex-Australian Rugby Union boss Bill Pulver. His life sounds positively idyllic these days.

In December, just as he was wrapping up things at the ARU, he and wife Belinda plonked down $5 million to purchase Braidwood's Mona Farm, a historic property in the NSW Southern Tablelands, with reported plans to open a wedding centre. Since then, he's devoted considerable efforts to the property's growing outdoor sculpture collection, with a work by Robert Barnstorm the latest purchase. "Anything that can bring more visitors to this town is a good thing," he told the Braidwood Times last week while showing off his acquisition.
