Installing Andrew Liveris as chairman of the organising committee for the 2032 Brisbane Olympics was one of Scott Morrison’s final actions as prime minister before his decomposing government entered caretaker mode in April.

Morrison was presumably rewarding Liveris for his magnificent work programming a risible “gas-fired recovery” for Australia in 2020. Hasn’t that aged well?
