Air NZ board down to two CEO candidates
Joe AstonColumnistThe board of Air New Zealand is expected to appoint a successor to outgoing chief executive Christopher Luxon this week or next.
The New Zealand Herald’s Insider column reckoned on Friday that “much of the talk centres on Alison Webster”, the candidly ambitious head of Qantas International who departed suddenly in April soon after being formally disciplined by group CEO Alan Joyce over an undignified outburst at an underling in the airline’s Mascot campus café.
