An unaffordable housing market is becoming tougher for many aspiring investors to break into, but Shyanne Kuru, Ivy Chen and Tanya Turner have beaten the odds and managed to start building their investment portfolio.

They are among the growing but still small cohort of women who own an investment asset, based on a poll conducted by CoreLogic.
