Morgyn Bostock ditched real estate agents to sell her Canberra unit, and says she would happily do it again, but industry figures say the traditional sales model has staying power.

The 33-year-old used an online, advertising-only service to sell her two-bedroom apartment in Braddon, a hip suburb in the capital’s inner-north, after originally reaching out to an agent.
