It was another record year for property, but not as we know it. In some markets, the prestige market suffered during the 18-month downturn that ended mid-year as buyers and sellers kept plans on ice in the lead up to a federal election.
Nevertheless, we witnessed record-breaking sales, and not just for established houses like in 2019 but with off-the-charts demand for off-the-plan apartments, setting the bar in both Sydney and Melbourne.
