Australia’s top 10 residential sales of 2024 have totalled about $652 million – topping last year’s combined $573 million for the top 10 sales by almost $80 million, despite softening market conditions in the blue-chip locales in Sydney and Melbourne.

Sydney’s affluent eastern suburbs have yet again dominated the list. Melbourne came fourth with a last-minute sale in Toorak.
