Melbourne has clocked its biggest trophy home deal of the year just a week out from Christmas with the sale of a Toorak mansion, which first hit the ultra-prestige market guiding $75 million to $82 million in March.

While the exact price remains a closely guarded secret, well-placed real estate sources have indicated the deal was inked below the initial guide and changed hands for close to $70 million – catapulting the deal to 2024’s priciest by about a $30 million margin. The exact price will be confirmed at settlement.
