Ponting buys for $20.7 million, Metricon’s Biasin property seeks $28m
The family of late Metricon founder Mario Biasin is selling their father and mother’s 49-acre (19.8 hectare) Mornington Peninsula property with a $28 million to $30 million price guide in a market starved of stock and with plenty of cashed-up buyers at the top end.
The 4445 Frankston Flinders Road property in Flinders, for which Mr Biasin and wife Glenda paid $8.65 million in 2006, comes with a council-approved scheme for a new mansion.
