Surging Sydney property prices have delivered the NSW government a $1 billion stamp duty windfall in the first two months of the year alone.
Fairfax Media reports that the hefty number is contained in figures published by the NSW Office of State Revenue that will provide a handy fillip for this year's NSW state budget.
