Glebe bungalow leapfrogs guide by $1.2m as clearance rates soften

The preliminary auction clearance rate has fallen to its lowest level this year, as fading hopes of an early rate cut and seasonal market cooling combined to push down early clearance numbers to 71.1 per cent.
The result was 1.5 percentage points below last week’s 72.6 per cent, but still an improvement on the same time last year, when preliminary results came in at 70.0 per cent.
