Former AFL star pays $250m for farm with space for 1290 homes

Former Carlton football star Fraser Brown has snapped up one of the last remaining infill residential sites in Melbourne’s south-east for about $250 million, with enough space to build more than 1290 homes.

Melbourne’s growing need for land provided a golden opportunity for the Corrigan family after six generations of farming in Clyde North. The family-run Corrigan’s Produce Farms is one of Australia’s biggest producers of kale.
