Forget uni hovels, students want a hotel-style ice bath and sauna

Global accommodation operator Centurion Corporation is targeting the top end of Australia’s surge in international student enrolments with luxury features including a sauna and ice pool in a planned Sydney development.

International students were responsible for more than 1.09 million university course enrolments last year – up 15 per cent from pre-pandemic levels – Ray White figures show. That volume created demand for a range of offerings, including at the top end, Centurion’s Anthony Bolger said.
