Climate consultant Olivia Kember of Energetics has taken the keys to Newtown’s most expensive home, emerging as the mystery buyer of the converted warehouse home sold by former Star Casino CEO Matt Bekier and his wife and sculptor, Melinda.

The former acting CEO of The Climate Institute paid $13.5 million for the designer digs last September, catapulting the grungy Sydney inner west suburb into unchartered price territory by almost doubling the previous record of $6.85 million.
