Downsizers pay $130,000 above reserve for villa as auctions slow

Sydney and Melbourne auction volumes have fallen for a second consecutive week in what could be an early sign housing prices will fall later this year, experts say.
Sydney auctions declined by 18 to 581, while Melbourne volumes dropped from 730 to 620, Domain data shows.
