Several buyers have splurged more than $40 million each at Lendlease's yet-to-be-built residential tower overlooking the harbour at Sydney's Barangaroo with seven whole-floor apartments bought in the past month.

It is understood the average sales price for the cluster of whole floor apartments was above $40 million with the bulk of those sales for luxury units above level 66.
