Aware Super doubles down on rentals in $285m bid for tower

Aware Super is looking to expand its presence in the burgeoning build-to-rent sector and is circling one of the Queensland government’s three major pilot projects in a deal worth close to $285 million if it goes ahead.

The project, called Brunswick & Co, which is owned by Frasers Property Australia and located in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, has been highly sought, receiving over 10 bids from potential buyers since it hit the market in March, according to market sources.
