New ratepayers are set to carry the increased cost of a game-changing council rating system aligned with population growth due to be implemented across most of NSW next July.
The state government has strongly backed recommendations contained in an Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) report and is “committed” to launching the new measures.
