Rushcutters Bay, The Spit marinas sold in $225m deal
ASX-listed financial services firm MA Financial has bought the d’Albora marina portfolio – it includes well-known berthing facilities at Rushcutters Bay and The Spit in Sydney – for $225 million from investment house, Balmain Corporation.
The deal follows the exit of Wall Street giant Goldman Sachs from the country’s largest institutional-grade marina portfolio last year. The US investment house’s stake was then acquired in a bridging move by its co-owner, Balmain, which has now sold the portfolio over to MA Financial.
