Hong Kong investor pays $30m for Salta's Dulux building

A high-net-worth Hong Kong investor has paid about $30 million to buy the suburban Melbourne headquarters of paint giant Dulux from Financial Review Rich Listers the Tarascio family.

The deal, struck on a yield of about 6 per cent, represents one of the biggest suburban office sales this year in Melbourne and highlights the appetite of Hong Kong investors for opportunities in the more stable Australian commercial property market.
