Charter Hall and Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC have partnered to buy the office building at 50 Marcus Clarke Street in central Canberra for $335 million.
Vendor Mirae Asset Global Investments paid $321 million for the property in 2017 and the sale price does not echo capital appreciation experienced elsewhere in the bullish Canberra office market, reflecting the building’s inherent leasing risk.
