Employees won’t decide when to return to the office
Perhaps the days of the unforgiving workplace run by crazy tyrants are over. But this doesn’t mean that the ship is going to be run by the crew.

Let’s talk numbers. Of the 150 million or so Americans who were employed in March, 31.6 million telecommuted, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, or about 21 per cent of the pie. I refer specifically to the bureau’s Supplemental data measuring the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on the labour market.
