Details of guests, staff affected by data hack at Meriton Suites

Meriton, the property development company owned by Harry Triguboff, the country’s sixth-richest person, joined the ranks of corporate Australian victims of cybercrime when it suffered a data hack in mid-January, it has emerged.

Meriton on Wednesday said 1889 guests and past and present employees of Meriton Suites – the company’s hotel arm – were potentially affected by the incident, which potentially involved 35.6 gigabytes of data.
