Curtin is the latest university to swell the property development pipeline, agreeing with an InfraRed Capital Partners-led consortium on a $300 million mixed-use precinct that will include student and private accommodation as well as a hotel, commercial space and retail facilities.

The project will comprise three buildings, two designed by NettletonTribe Architects with a collective 1000 student beds, and a third, designed by Six Degrees Architects, with 60-room hotel, 38 apartments and 3000 square metres of commercial space. Fifteen retail outlets, including a grocery store and food and beverage facilities, will be spread across the three buildings.
