The coronavirus is grounding the world's high-flyers – particularly those from China – and companies that operate and service the global private jet fleet are feeling the pinch.

Paul Little, the Financial Review Rich List developer and owner of Melbourne Jet Base, the $100 million facility that opened 18 months ago in a corner of Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport, said arrivals at the facility servicing celebrities and high net worth clients of Crown's Southbank casino had fallen as a result of the COVID-19 strain of the virus.
