After five years and almost $100 million, Rich List developer and private jet owner Paul Little has opened Melbourne Jet Base, the VIP terminal targeting the growing global demand for private and charter jet services.

The Cox Architecture-designed terminal at Tullamarine airport, in the corner of a 19.5-hectare site Mr Little has on a 35-year federal government lease, has capacity for 200 "turns" a month – one turn marks the arrival and departure of a jet.
