Every person working in Victoria’s reset hotel quarantine program will be tested daily under tight new infection protocols, as Melbourne received its first returning international travellers since the second-wave lockdowns began in July.

The first of eight international passenger flights, a SriLankan Airlines plane from Colombo, touched down early on Monday morning, with an expected seven further planes carrying a total of 253 passengers scheduled to arrive by the end of the day.
