Why this teal candidate left the Liberal Party after 17 years
Victorian teal candidate Felicity Frederico believes the fact that Liberal Party insiders have been registering websites under various iterations of her name is a sign they are “rattled” by her nascent campaign.
Ms Frederico was a member of the party for 17 years. She is now running against Liberal MP James Newbury in the bayside Melbourne seat of Brighton, which fits within the federal division of Goldstein won by Zoe Daniel in the May national poll.
