Video ‘reality check’ for family law litigants

The family law courts will require every new litigant to watch a short video that Chief Justice Will Alstergren describes as a “reality check” for separating couples.
It is part of a revamp of the family law system that coincides with the merger of the Family Court and the Federal Circuit Court, which comes into effect from Wednesday.
