Unions press for domestic violence leave commitment

Unions and former Australian of the Year Rosie Batty have called on the Coalition and the Labor Party to enshrine 10 days paid domestic violence leave in the nation's award system if they win the July 2 election.
The Australian Council of Trade Unions has urged the Fair Work Commission to grant 10 days unpaid domestic violence leave, and two days unpaid leave a year to award employees.
