Tracking the path to reopening

Michael Read

The national cabinet has agreed on vaccination targets that will trigger Australia’s four-phase plan to reopen. In phase A (which is where we are now), hard and fast lockdowns will continue. In phase B, once 70 per cent of the adult population is fully vaccinated lockdowns are less likely. In phase C, once 80 per cent of the eligible population is vaccinated, lockdowns will be targeted and arrivals caps will be lifted. In phase D, international borders will reopen.

We have compiled all the data sets below so you can keep track of where the country is in reaching these goals.
