Queensland's tourism industry has implored Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk to bring forward the border opening with Sydney to give operators a chance to stay afloat through the Christmas holidays.
With Queensland authorities allowing people from regional NSW into the state on Tuesday, tourism operators are sweating on the next step to allow 5 million Sydneysiders and then eventually Victorians into the Sunshine State.
