Opposition health spokesman Chris Bowen says Anthony Albanese will lead the Labor Party to the next election, while reiterating that it needs to connect with the voters in the suburbs if it is to have any chance of victory.
Mr Bowen, the former shadow treasurer who holds the western Sydney seat of McMahon, told Sky News that reconnecting with outer suburban voters need not come at the expense of the party's existing support base.
