NSW Premier's office tried to stop evidence from staffer

The NSW Premier's department tried to argue a staffer who shredded documents relating to a government grants program would be "unable to assist" a parliamentary inquiry into the program.
Sarah Lau told the inquiry into the grants program last week she destroyed both physical and digital copies of notes used by Gladys Berejiklian to approve funding allocation.
