Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk's economic credentials have received a major boost ahead of Saturday's election in an opinion poll that shows 50 per cent of Queenslanders believe she would do a better job managing the state's economy than Opposition Leader Deb Frecklington.
The Ipsos Australia poll conducted exclusively for The Australian Financial Review also found two-thirds of Queenslanders were satisfied with Ms Palaszczuk's handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
