There’s been one person missing from the $2 million claim for false imprisonment against Judge Salvatore “Sal” Vasta in the Federal Court: Judge Vasta.

The Brisbane-based judge has admitted he made a “mistake” when he jailed a 40-year-old father of two in December 2018 for contempt of court during a routine property dispute with his former wife in the Federal Circuit Court.
