Anthony Albanese’s visit to the Hindu Council of Australia last week could play a significant role in drawing votes from one of the country’s fastest-growing demographics, an expert says.
The importance of Mr Albanese’s meeting with the community group in western Sydney could not be understated, said Charles Darwin University lecturer Devaki Monani, who specialises in migration and settlement.
