NSW’s zombie campaign has failed to catch fire

David CluneFormer NSW Parliament HistorianAt the end of 2022, it seemed all that awaited the Perrottet government were the last rites and a decent burial. Almost nothing has gone right for Dominic Perrottet since he succeeded Gladys Berejiklian as premier on October 5, 2021.
In January 2022, Perrottet’s early relaxation of COVID restrictions and rapid backflip came in for much criticism. The government lost Bega at a by-election in February with a swing to Labor of 13 per cent.
