Two NSW Liberal Party members unable to run in local elections due to the catastrophic failure to nominate candidates in several councils have filed a class action against the party.
The Australian Financial Review has confirmed that John Moores and John Paynter are the lead plaintiffs in a case lodged in the NSW Supreme Court on Monday which alleges breach of contract and negligence by the party.
